1- Hormones are chemical substances that act like messenger molecules in the body. After being made in one part of the body, they travel to other parts of the body where they help control how cells and organs do their work. For example, insulin is a hormone that's made by the beta cells in the pancreas.

2-The endocrine glands do not have ducts to carry their product to a surface that's why they are called ductless glands.

3-Alpha cells

Beta cells

Delta cells

4- thyroid gland is located at the base of your neck, just below the Adam's apple.
