Answer:

This is a very interesting poem by Subramania Bharati who is a great Tamil Poet, famous for his patriotism in the pre-independence era.

In his poem, he talks about the wind. He describes it as a friend and as a fiend both. He says until the wind comes softly it's our friend and when it changes into a destructive then it becomes a fiend. He also describes it's coming & results as;

The wind comes softly. Not even by the poet's wish, she breaks the shutters of the windows & scatters the papers. Throws down the book on the shelf. This shows that unless & until one is not ready & able to compete for, the wind becomes his/her fiend.

He also discusses that the wind is very clever at poking fun at weaklings. The wind comes & just wipe out everything it gets into the mouth. For facing such difficult situations the poet teaches us to build strong homes, to joint the doors firmly, practice to the firm the body, to make the heart steadfast.

He says, by practising the above-mentioned one can do friendship with the wind. He says wind's friendship is very good & also mentions that we worship him daily as it's the reason for our survival.
