(a) The black aeroplane is called strange because it had no lights on its wings. Moreover, it vanished soon after the narrator landed at the airport. It made the whole instance strange and mysterious.
(b) Mr. Keesing was always annoyed with Anne because she was always talking in his class. When Mr. Keesing punished Anne repeatedly for her talkativeness and asked her to write an essay, one after the other, she composed a poem on "The Incorrigible Chatterbox' and gave a message through it to the teacher. The teacher got so impressed by her little poem that he decided not to punish her.
(c) Horace was fond of rare and expensive books. He used to commit one theft every year on an average. He stole enough money to last twelve months. He bought books to his heart's pleasure.
