what is the diference in the atomic models of thomas and rutherfoard ?

Rutherford experiment proved that most of space in atom is empty the hard mass nucleus is situated in very small portion in center containing neutrons and protons. Thomson model does not give details about the atomic nucleus whereas Rutherford model explains about the nucleus
