SAP ,RCQsimilar as AS= QC, AP= RC

<SAB= <RCQ

SO SAS therefore they both has same area

similarly PBQ,SDR similar

SD= BQ

PB= DR

<D= <B

SO BOTH SAME AREA

ALSO <D + <A= 180

Therefore SAP,RCQ,PBQ,SDR all has same area

let <SAP= a, AD=BC= b, DC=AB= c

AREA OF SAP= 1/2 (b/2)( c/2) sin(a)

= bc sin(a)/8

SO AREA OF SAP+ AREA OF RCQ+ AREA OF PBQ + AREA OF SDR = 4× bc sin(a)/8

= bc sin(a)/2 = L

AREA OF ABCD = bc sin( a) = 48

L = 48/2 = 24

AREA OF PQRS = AREA OF ABCD- AREA OF ( SAP+ RCQ+ PBQ+ SDR)

= 48 -24 = 24

SO AREA OF PQRS = 24
