2. I) rainbow is mainly seen after a rainfall.

ii) the small water droplets of water act as like small prisms.

iii) when light Ray's enter this droplets it gets refracted and dispersed.

iv) then there is tatal internal reflection,and after that there is once again light gets refracted while coming out of droplet.

all these three process reflection , refraction and dispersion forms a rainbow.
