Let's calculate new velocities of train and parrot,

The velocity of the train will be zero

The velocity of the parrot will be V = 10 + 5 = 15 m/s

( opposite direction so we added the velocities )

according to frame of reference.

Now, the problem has been converted into one body problem,

A parrot with velocity of 15 m/s has to cover a distance of 150m , calculate time required

using,

S = Vt

t = S / V

t = 150 / 15

t = 10 sec

so, the correct option no. is a) 10 sec.

10 sec is Time required by the parrot to cover distance of 150m of moving train with velocity of 10 m/s
