Answer:

hi friend,

given one of the zeros of quadratic polynomial (k-1)x2+kx+1 is -3

so when we substitute -3 in the polynomial ,we get 0

→(k-1)(-3)²+k(-3)+1=0

→9k-9-3k+1=0

→6k-8=0

→k=8/6=4/3

hope it will help u

As (-3) is a zero of f(x), then, f(-3) should be equal to 0.

So,

f( - 3) = (k - 1) {( - 3)}^{2}  + k( - 3) + 1 = 0 \\  =  > 9k - 9  - 3k + 1 =  0 \\  =  > 6k = 8 \\  =  > k =  \frac{4}{3}

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
