first of all, cosine can't be greater than 1

here cos = 8/7 > 1 is impossible.

I think your question is ---> cosec = 8/7

given, cosec\theta = 8/7

we know, cosec\theta = hypotenuse/perpendicular

after comparing we get,

hypotenuse = 8 and perpendicular = 7

from Pythagoras theorem,

base² = hypotenuse ² - perpendicular ²

= 8² - 7² = 64 - 49 = 15

so, base = √15

now, sin\theta = perpendicular/hypotenuse = 7/8

cos\theta = base/hypotenuse

= √15/8

sec\theta = hypotenuse/base

= 8/√15

tan\theta = perpendicular/base

= 7/√15

cot\theta = base/perpendicular

= √15/7
