Given - The expression = (2⁰ + 4-¹)*2²

Find - The number equivalent to given expression.

Solution - As per BODMAS rule, first we will solve the bracket. Then the obtained   will be multiplied with 2².

As per the fact, any number or expression raised to the power of zero is equal to one. So, 2⁰ = 1. As 4 is raised to power of -1, hence it will be inversed. Thus, the solved expression in bracket will be - (1+(1/4)) = 5/4.

The number two raised to the power of two is equal to 4. So, the combined expression will be - (5/4)*4

On solving we get = 5

Hence, the given expression is equal to 5.
