biodegradable objects are those which get decomposed within less time while non biodegradable take so many time to be decomposed.

biodegradable eg.= food, wood, paper etc.

non biodegradable eg.= plastic

rust= iron reacts with moist air,it forms a brown colored compound known as rust which covers a whole surface of iron and it is brown in color. it is also unstable which falls from the surface after some time.
