Let the Sumit rank be x from front

Ravi's rank = ( x – 7 ) from front

According to the question

x = ( 39 – 17 )

x = 22th rank

Ans Ravi's rank = x – 7 = 22 – 7 = 15th

( 2 ) is the correct answer
