Solution: i) 4 × 8 $\frac{1}{8}$

= 4 × $\frac{65}{8}$

= $\frac{65}{2}$

= 32 $\frac{1}{2}$

ii) 3 × 5 $\frac{2}{7}$

= 3 × $\frac{37}{2}$

= $\frac{111}{7}$

= 15 $\frac{6}{7}$

iii) 9 × 2 $\frac{4}{9}$

= 9 × $\frac{22}{9}$

= 22
