Answer:

PRS=PQR+QPR(exterior angle so formed is the sum of the two interior opposite angles)

We know PQ=PR

so,PQR=PRQ(if two opposite sides of a triangle are equal then their opposite angles are also equal)

QS Is a straight line,

so

PRQ+PRS= 180°(Linear Pair)

PRQ+120=180

so

PRQ=180-120=60°

PRQ=PQR=x

therefore

x=60°

QPR=60°

PRQ=60°

and it's an equilateral triangle.

hope it helps

Answer:

  • 60° is the value of x.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the figure, ΔPQR, RS extended(exterior angle)

x° + 60° = 120°

  • [∵ Exterior angle property]

It is 60°, since it is a equilateral triangle.

⇒ x + 60° = 120°

∴ x = 60°

or,

In ΔPQR,

∠P + ∠Q + ∠R = 180°

  • [∵ Angle sum property]

60° + x + 60° = 180°

120° + x = 180°

∴ x = 60°
