We know..

 =  > focal \:  \: length(f) =  \frac{1}{power(d)}   \:  \:  \: m
Now,

Focal length (f)
 =  \frac{1}{5}  = 0.2m = 20 \:  \: cm
Now since focal is positive so.. Its a convex lens.
And

For a convex lens, magnified image is formed when,

1)

When object is placed between optical centre and focal length, then we get a virtual, erect and magnified image.

So, in case of object kept at 18 cm, we get a magnified image.

2)

When object is placed between focal length (f) and radius of curvature (2f), we get a real, inverted and magnified image.

So, in case of object at 30 cm, we get a magnified image.
