Answer thefollowing:
i. A shopkeeper buys an old T.V. for Rs.5400 and spends Rs.600 on its repairs. If he
sells the repaired T.V. for Rs.6900;find:
a) his profit or loss
b) his profit or loss as percent.
ii. A retailer buys a cooler for Rs.1200 and overhead expenses on it are Rs.40. If he sell
the cooler for Rs.1550, determine his profit percent.
iii. Vivek buys a watch for Rs. 500, and later sells it to his friend for Rs. 600. Find his
profit% or loss%.
iv. Find the loss % if a man makes a loss of Rs. 328 when he sells his cycle for Rs. 1272.
