 {cot}^{2} (90 -   \alpha ) =  {tan}^{2}  \alpha  \\  {cot}^{2} 64 =  {cot(90 - 26}^{2}  \\    {cot}^{2} (90 - 26) =  {tan}^{2} 26

according to trigonometric identities

 {sec  }^{2} \alpha   -  {tan}^{2}  \alpha  = 1

so \\  {sec}^{2} 26 -  {tan}^{2} 26 = 1
