Explanation:

1. u=20m/s

v=0

S=5cm = 0.05m

a=(v²-u²)/2S= (0-400)/0.1=-4000m/s²

3. a=36km/h²

u=12km/h

v=18km/h

S=(v²-u²)/2a=(324-144)/72= 2.5 km

4. u=6 m/s

a=-2 m/s²

t=6s

v=u+at = 6+(-2)6=6-12=-6 m/s

S=(v²-u²)/2a = (36-36)/(-4) =0

Since displacement is zero, the particle is at the starting point after 6s.
