HEY MATE!!!
Here's the answer with explanation...
In two similar triangles, the sides, altitudes and medians are in the same ratio. If the ratio is a:b, then the ratio of their areas will be a²:b².
Here,
⇒ A(ΔABC) : A(ΔDEF) = 121:64
⇒ a²:b² = 121:64
⇒ a:b = √121:√64
⇒ a:b=11:8
So the sides, altitudes and medians are in the ratio 11:8!!!
⇒ AM : DN = 11:8
⇒ 12.1 : DN = 11:8
⇒ 12.1/DN = 11/8
⇒ DN = 12.1 / (11/8)
⇒ DN = 12.1 / 11 × 8
⇒ DN = 8.8
So the median of ΔDEF is 8.8 cm!!!
Thank you...
