Answer:- I will support Sandhya's statement as correct because when they are talking about two medium then light bends toward normal in denser medium but the speed of light is same. When a ray of light goes from 1 medium to another medium it bends toward normal in denser medium whereas it bends away from normal in rarer medium .This bending property of light is known an refraction of light.
Suppose a ray of light is passing through a glass slab which is denser than the air then we will see that when light rays is passed through the glass slab it bends towards normal but the speed of light is same.
