4 .D is the mid point of AB and DE//BC
E is the mid point of AC and DE=1/2 BC
2DE=BC
2×5 cm =BC
BC=10 cm
DB=3.5 cm
AB=2(DB)=2×3.5 cm =7 cm
AC=2(AE)=2×4.5=9 cm
perimeter of ∆ABC=AB+BC+CA
=7+10+9
=26 cm
5.A diagonal of a parallelogram divides it into two congruent triangle.
6.Quadrilateral
7.Rectangle, Rhombus,square
2.opp.angles are equal.
angle B=angle D
angle D=68°
angle B and angle C are supplementary
angle B+angle C=180°
68°+angle C =180°
angle C=180°-68°
angle C=112°
opp.angles are equal.
angle C=angle A
angle A=112°
3.opp.sides are equal.
AB=CD
CD=4.5 cm
BC=AD
AB+CD+BC+AD=21 cm
AB+AB+BC+BC=21 cm
2(AB+BC)=21
2(4.5+BC)=21
(4.5+BC)=21/2
=10.5 cm
BC=10.5-4.5=6 cm
E is the mid point of AC and DE=1/2 BC
2DE=BC
2×5 cm =BC
BC=10 cm
DB=3.5 cm
AB=2(DB)=2×3.5 cm =7 cm
AC=2(AE)=2×4.5=9 cm
perimeter of ∆ABC=AB+BC+CA
=7+10+9
=26 cm
