It is B × l × v × sin(theta)

where B is magnetic flux density or magnetic induction, l is length of conductor, v is velocity, theta is angle between mangetic induction and velocity.

when a conductor of length l moves with velocity v throgh magnetic induction B at angle theta, induced emf in conductor is given by formula as stated at very begining.

As said in question length of conductor is 2 meter, theta is 90 degree, manetic induction B is 3 weber/ m^2, velocity is 40 meter/sec.

putting values in formula,

3 × 2 × 40 × sin (90) = 240 volts.
