1. it's probably a theory (correct me if I am wrong). as it is said that Harry's wand contains a pheonix feather probably Fawkes. the bird found out yhat the wand bearer was in trouble as the aligence shifted and help harry

2. harry didn't die in the forbidden forest because he was a horcux. to kill the part of voldemort inside him voldemort himself had to kill harry. this was the send time that the killing curse did not affect harry because voldemort soul(which was prominent in Harry's body) took the hit and died sparing Harry's soul
