Let  present ages of A and B be x and y respectively.
A/Q age of A is 5 yrs more than B ===x = y +5         ............(1)

And 5 yrs ago A's  age = x-5
                      B's age = y-5
Ratio =   x-5 / y-5 = 3/2  ⇒ 2x - 10 = 3y - 15 ⇒ 2x = 3y - 5 ..........(2)

Solving (1) and (2)  fetches x = 20 yrs   and y = 15 yrs

Hope my answer is correct .
