15. India is centrally located between the east and the West Asia

India is strategically located at the centre of the trans Indian ocean routes which connect the European countries in the west and the countries of East Asia

India could establish close contact with West Asia, Africa and Europe from the Western coast. moreover, it could establish close contact with Southeast and East Asia from the eastern coast

The Central location of India that is head of Indian ocean has a great significance because from this location it is very easy to transport things. I mean import and export of products. it will make connect our India with other Western countries like USA etc. it will help for our financial condition as the sea route, as the cheapest mode of transport and many people travel using this route


16. the following are the reasons
a) Indian ocean is named after India because, India holds a Central location which is at the head of Indian Ocean
b) India has the longest coastline in the region adding to its clout, no other country in the Indian Ocean indeed has that long a coastline
c) India also serves as an important transit points for sea fruits connecting the two regions that is countries of Europe with countries of East Asia.
