glucose is the main product of photosynthesis. glucose is a molecule that produces energy which make it possible for the processes of the cell go on. the by product of photosynthesis is oxygen. oxygen is what animals and people need for respiration. photosynthesis is a process by which green plants make their food. the main raw materials for photosynthesis are the chlorophyll, the sun and water.
