In the heart, cardiac muscle is myogenic in nature which allows keeping its pace right.

The septum divides the two circulations and allows to do pump the chambers. Two ventricles present in the heart pumps to its own flow.

Compare to the right ventricle, the left ventricle is more muscular in nature and allows higher pressures to be built which makes the blood to pump around the entire body.

As the right ventricle is less muscular, it only pumps blood to the lungs.
