it will be solved as follow..

mass of water= 1kg=1000g

density of water = 1g/cm^3

 FOR LIQUID

  mass = 2kg=2000g

density= 3g/cm^3

here volume of waater will be mass/density= 1000cm^3

and for liquid volume will be = 2000/3cm^3 =667 cm^ (approx)

then for comined density

                                   total mass / total volume

                                   = 2+1/1000+667

                                      =0.0017g/cm^3
