Hi,

Here's ur answer:-

In a rectangle, the diagonal divides it into two right angled triangle.

The diagonal acts as the hypotenuse and the sides act as base and perpendicular.

Let the sides be 3x and 4x.

√(3x)²+(4x²) = 20

=> √9x²+16x² = 20

=> √25x² = 20

=>5x = 20

=> x= 4

So, The sides are 3x= 12 and 4x = 16.

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 2(12+16) = 2×28 = 56

HOPE IT HELPS (^_^)
