Hi here is your answer...
As the lift moves at a speed of 1m/s.
Therefore,To move 50 m downwards till the ground floor he will take 50×1 sec.=50 secs.
1 floorof a basement =5m
then,2 floors=10m
Therefore he will take 10 secs. to reach 2nd floor basement...
Therefore;Total time taken:-10+50=60sec=1min
