Democracy produces Accountable, Responsive n' Legimate govt. in the following ways :

!! ACCOUNTABLE GOVT. !!

Democracy for this is an accountable government as the people have right to choose their representatives to the electoral process.

The elected representatives form govt. and participate in decision-making process on behalf of people..

This is known as Transparency. If these representatives don't work in proper way, people have chance to not elect them next time.

!! RESPONSIVE GOVT. !!

Democracy produces a responsive govt. As democratic govt. is elected by the people, it's people's own govt.

It promotes the formation of public opinion and take care of the needs and expectations of the people...

!! LEGIMATE GOVT. !!

Further,
It produces legimate government because of regular elections after a fixed interval of time is its key feature.

It may be slow, but it's people's own Legimate Govt.
