GIVEN :-

[calcium = 40% ;
carbon = 12% ;
oxygen = 48%]

SOLUTION:- molecular mass of CaCo3
= 40+12+16*3
=100

then,

calcium = 40%

=40 / 100* 1.5
=0.6g of Ca

carbon = 12%

12 / 100*1.5
=0.18g of carbon

oxygen = 48%

48 / 100*1.5
=0.72g of oxygen

hence, after adding this total weight:-

0.6+0.18+0.72
= 1.5g
