Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 5+bx-2x^2+ax^3

x-2 = 0

x= 2

f(2) = 5 + 2b - 2 (2)^2 + a 2^3

= 5 + 2b - 8 + 8a

= 2b +8a -3

If x+1 =0

x= -1

f(-1) = 5 -1b-2 -1a

= 3 -1b -1a

according to question ,

2b+8a -3 = 2 ( 3 -1b -1a)

2b+8a -3 = 6 -2b -2a

2b+2b +8a+2a = 6+3

4b + 10a = 9

Hence proved
