  1. Bez it is very reactive in nature and reacts with O2 in air and starts burning so nacent phosphorus is kept under inert liq.
  2. He will observe the change of color of liq from blue to green. Bez the cu2+ ions is replaced by Iron ions (Fe2+) ions
  3. It is inert in nature along with it is soft rare metal

ANSWER

a.Since, phosphorus is generally stored in water, because it is the reactive and non metal element.

If it is left in open air, it reacts with oxygen of air and will cause fire.

So in order to protect it, it should be kept in water.

b.a brown coating of copper is formed on the surface of iron and he observd that the colour of copper sulphate solution changes from blue to light green

CuSo4 + Fe -> FeSo4 + Cu2

c.Gold is used to make jewelry because of the attractiveness of its luster and because of its rarity. It also doesn't tarnish and doesn't react with air the way a metal like iron does

d.The reaction of calcium with water is less violent. So, the heat released is not sufficient for the hydrogen to catch fire. Calcium starts floating because the bubbles of hydrogen gas which are formed during the reaction stick to the surface of the metal and hence calcium floats on water.
