Let him get the credit, don't worry but ask him openly and politely to mention you, it happened to me before many times, I didn't say anything at the begining but as he needed me for explanations many times because he was stuck alone, so I asked him openly to recognize that this is my effort, and I don't deserve to be hidden or asked secretely, and that I should be the presenter of my job, then at the end he called me and I did the presentation myself, he didn't repeat it again.
