diameter of semicircle = breadth of rectagle

radius = 8/2 = 4 cm

Area of 2 semicircle = 2* 1/2*22/7* 4*4

= 22/7*16

= 50.28

Area of shaded region = are of rectangle + are o f 2 semicircle

= 96 - 50.28

= 45.72
