ANSWER IS : People did not know whether next will come or not. For example take the movie DHOOM . The industry did not whether the 2/3/4 part will be made or not.

Anyone will easily get to know how lies are like...
just like the ans to the question is simple, but when somebody answered, it, u were lying that the answer isn't that and said an absurd ans lol....
also if that MONU is today's generation's one, there is no way his grandpa lived during 19th century.... the other ans was that no prizes were given to wars..but actually, indian soldiers actually received prizes from British for being loyal and helping them in war....thts another thing, but the explanation u gave i didn't even understand a bit... XD
