MORE surface area that means more no. of molecules will get chance to evaporate under suitable conditions...thus rate of evaporation is MORE.

¤》Effect of nature of liquid:-

If the solute solvent molecules has strong intermolecular force of attraction between themselves...then the chance to evaporate is less.

that is-----

¤ More intermolecular forces among solute solvent molecules =》less rate of evaporation.

¤ Less intermolecular forces among solute solvent molecules =》More rate of evaporation.
