Let the pencil and pen 's cost be X and Y.
3x + 4Y = 270 ... ( 1 )
4x + 3Y = 150 .... ( 2 )
Subtracting 1 and 2 ---
- X + Y = 120... ( 3 )
Adding 1 and 2--
7x + 7Y = 420
X + Y = 60 Ans.
