hey... the question is actually incomplete ...but I think u will be asking how many children r there fa Smith... so the answer is absolutely 5 ...

but so far I have seen this question as Mr.Smith has 4 daughters and each daughter had a brother so I would answer that it is 4 because each daughter had a brother ... had in the sense now they don't have ...
