Given :-

  • Side of cube = 12 cm

  • 45% tank is filled with water

To Find :

  • How much more water it can hold

Solution :-

Volume of cube = a³

→ 12 × 12 × 12

→ 1728 cm³

Volume of tank is 1728 cm³

1 cm³ = 1/1000 L

1728 cm³ = 1728/1000 = 1.728 L

Tank can hold 1.728 L water

45% tank is filled it means it can hold more 55% water . So 55% of 1.728 L is

→ 55 × 1.728 × 1/100

→ 0.9504 L = 950.4 mL

Tank cam hold 950.4 mL more water
