Rainbow is the combination of reflection, refraction and dispersion

it is formed in rainy season.

when sun shines on a rain drop first reflection takes place then refraction and when it touches the inner surface of rain drop.

To see a rainbow we should stand opposite to the direction of sun .

we can see it when sun rays fall on rain drops
