Yes, the tiger doesn't eat plants but we can't say that it doesn't depends on plants. It doesn't depends on plants directly but indirectly it is dependant on plants. As, the other animals which the tiger eat like deer , rabbit etc. which gain their nutrition from plants , So if there were no plants these animals wouldn't be there and nothing for the Carnivores to eat.

Plants→ Herbivores → Carnivores

Without plants , the food chain will be incomplete and life wouldn't be possible on Earth. Directly or Indirectly , every animal I'd dependant on plants for their survival.
