so, x = y+4

eight year ago

==> (x-8) = 3(y-8)

==> x -8 = 3y-24

==> x-3y = -24+8

==> x-3y = -16 ..(1)

now putting the value of x in eq(1)

==> x - 3y = -16

==> (4+y)-3y = -16

==> 4 -2y = -16

==> -2y = -20

==> y = 10

so, x = 10+4 ==> 14

so, anu age = 14 , and sunil = 10
