Distance = speed × time

So by this formula

Speed = 20m/s

Time=60s

Distance=20×60

(Speed) × (time)

Distance = 1,200 m

We already learnt the definition of distance travelled by a body in terms of speed and time.

We can say as stated under :

Speed = Distance/Time

Or, 20 = Distance/60

Or, Distance = (20×60) m.

Or, Distance = 1200 m.

You should be careful in checking the units, i.e., whether they are in S.I., or partially S.I. partially C.G.S., etc.

In such case, you need to undergo conversion of units under S.I system or C.G.S system as the question indicates.
