before 15 years, age of anuj= y-15

after 5 years, age of anuj=y+5

a.t.p,

y-15 = 1/2 (y+5)

y-15 = y/2 + 5/2

y-y/2 = 5/2 + 15

y/2 = 35/2

y = 35/2 ×2

y = 35

Present age of anuj = 35 years
