As we know Radius is the half of diameter.
Radius,
r = d/2
= 0.25 × 10-3 m
And , Compressional force (F) = 50000 N
So , Pressure at the tip of the anvil:
P = Force / Area
= 50000 / π(0.25 × 10-3)2
= 2.55 × 1011 Pa (answer)
Therefore, the pressure at the tip of the anvil is 2.55 × 1011 Pa.
