Infectious Diseases( Communicable diseases) :-
1. They are transferred from a patient to a healthy person.
2. They are caused by Pathogens(Diseases causing organisms).
3. They Spread through some agency such as Air, food, water, contact, insects,etc.
4. Examples :- Malaria, Flu, Jaundice, etc.
Non Infectious diseases(Non-Communicable):-
1. They cannot be transferred from a patient to a healthy person.

4. Examples :- Diabetes, Cancer, Heart Disease,etc.
