Any body can say why metal react with acid and non metal do not react with acid

Acids have H^{+} ions so they want electrons.

So metal react with acids fulfill their needs.

But non-metals are electronegative in nature, so they can't fulfill acid need because non-metals also needs electrons so as acids.

So non-metals not react with acids.

Non-metals are themselves acceptors of electrons so there is no way they can donate electrons to the hydrogen ion of the acid. Hence, non-metals in general do not react with dilute acids.
