4(2x + 1) = 3(x - 1) + 7

8x + 4 = 3x - 3 + 7

8x + 4 = 3x + 4

8x - 3x = 4 - 4

8x - 3x = 0

5x = 0

x = 0/5

x = 0.

Question : Solve the following equation :

4(2x + 1)= 3(x - 1)+7

Answer :

Step by step explanation :

Here ,

Firstly open the brackets of L.H.S, we get :

8x + 4 = 3 ( x - 1 ) + 7

Now, Open the brackets of R.H.S,

8x + 4 = 3x - 3 + 7

Now, Simplify the equation..

8x + 4 = 3x + 4

Taking variable on one side and coefficient on the other side.

8x - 3x = 4 - 4

5x = 0

x = 0

Hence,

The value of x is 0.
